DESCRIPTION
Camera Press, founded in 1947, is internationally renowned as one of the world's leading independent picture agencies. We take pride in our long history and our ongoing association with some of the greatest names in photography; names that include Yousuf Karsh, Sorci and Cecil Beaton. We are also a home for top contemporary photographers such as Andy Gotts, Jason Bell, John Swannell, Perou and Jillian Edelstein. We produce news, quality celebrity studio shoots, and top travel and reportage features on a daily basis. As well as our rich archive of royal and historical pictures, our remit also covers entertainment, stock and portraiture, and a specialist lifestyle department, focusing on interiors, beauty, food, fitness and fashion.

Whether for press, media or commercial use our images are available from our user friendly online database 24 hours a day. If you cannot find what you are looking for, our knowledgeable, dedicated and efficient staff will help you with all your picture needs.

Seventy years on Camera Press is a modern agency, proud to be at the forefront of the picture business whilst still maintaining the traditions of quality service and care for our photographers instilled by our founder Tom Blau.

Our vast archive of 12 million+ images spans more than a century, from the dawning of photography to the key events and personalities of the 20th century.

The archive, rich in royal and historical pictures, covers all facets of life and encompasses high quality archive and stock images. It hosts the collections of photographic legends such as Yousuf Karsh, Sorci and Cecil Beaton, together with a unique, royal archive of official portraits of weddings, christenings and births, bridging seven generations of the British Royal Family.
Using our archive as a resource we produce retrospectives linked to key anniversaries each month, as well as collections embracing topics as diverse as the seaside and natural disasters.

Only a small fraction of our archive is digitized so please always contact us if, you can't find what you are looking for online.
