The company was established in 1982 by its founder Robert White. It was then known as Robert White Photographic, a specialist camera retailer dealing in quality photographic equipment new and second-hand. From a small shop in Poole, it grew into a larger company with an international customer base and an enviable reputation for quality products and excellent service. Now under new ownership, Robert White is primarily an online supplier of niche market, high quality imaging products for the stills photographer as well as video users.
