People and portraits

Christie Goodwin is a British photographer with a career that spans over thirty years. Christie first picked up her father's camera at the age of 12 and has been shooting ever since. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and got her feet wet in fashion photography, working with fashion designers she had connected with during her years at the Academy.

For most of the 1990s Christie was an editorial news photographer for major wire agencies. It was around this time that she developed the habit of outsmarting concert security and getting her camera into venues to shoot her favourite bands. In 2005 she was commissioned to shoot a live performance and that same evening she hung up her editorial hat and became a full time music and entertainment photographer.

Today Christie is in high demand as a tour and portrait photographer for top recording artists. Christie's work appears on CDs and DVDs, tour merchandise, posters and calendars, in international publications, books and exhibitions. She is known and respected for her no-nonsense approach and connecting with the artist. She can turn a casual run down a back alley into an iconic magic of the moment image. Whether it is a quick group shot with One Direction in the middle of a concert, or spending an afternoon with Ed Sheeran shooting candid portraits, she will get exactly what the artist was hoping for and more. Fast, creative and a little bit crazy, Christie delivers mind-blowing end results to her clients.

When not on the road in a tour bus Christie is at home in London and spends her free time shooting complex and frightening murder scenes for bestseller crime novel covers.
