Mark Pain is a British sports photographer. He has covered major sporting events worldwide from the Olympic Games to the Ryder Cup, and from football and rugby World Cups to World Championship athletics.

As chief sports photographer for The Mail On Sunday (UK), Mark captures Premier League football action every week, as well as taking portraits and feature photographs of athletes and sports personalities.

Throughout his career he has won many competitions and awards, and has been highly commended on numerous occasions, including as a sports finalist in the World Press Photo 1998. Mark was crowned Sports Photographer of the Year in 2005 and 2011 at the British Press Awards, and was named British Airways Olympic Photographer Of The Year 2012 at the prestigious UK Guild of Picture Editors Awards.

In 2011 Mark launched the first dedicated Sports Photography School in the UK, and in 2013 became a Nikon Ambassador.
